Led by singer/songwriter guitarist Frank Unzueta, One World’s original Latin sound is an exciting blend of hot Latin rhythms, romantic Spanish guitars, and sensuous love songs.

The band's dynamic live performances feature music from their latest critically acclaimed CD release, “L.A. Mambo”, and new songs from their new album currently in production. With beautiful vocal
harmonies, a thunderous percussion section, a lovely Latin violin and fiery guitars expect Frank Unzueta and One World to bring down the house at every show.  Be ready to be Latinized!

Frank Unzueta formed One World in 1985, incorporating Caribbean and African rhythms with his original songs to form the basis of his style. One World’s first Sunstone Records release, “Spirits Beckon You” was a ground breaking exploration of these rhythms and styles. “Spirits Beckon Your” received heavy airplay and unanimous acclaim nation wide as well as building a wide audience of loyal fans.

With the release of their second album, “L.A. Mambo,” the band returned to their roots originating in the Latin styles of their native Los Angeles. The single, “Say You Will,” received extensive airplay on AC stations across the country.

One World has shared the stage with many artist such as Poncho Sanchez, Los Lobos, Dianne Schuur, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and The Yellow Jackets to name a few. The band is currently in the studio working with seven time Grammy winning producer/engineer Rafa Sardina. Frank Unzueta, who is producing the new project,
says that "the new album will have a raw sound with more of an edge to it.” We used a horn section on almost every track on L.A. Mambo, but there will only be horns on ”Tina Mas Fina” (an instrumental featuring saxophonist Eric Marienthal). Needless to say, the new album is being anxiously awaited by fans everywhere.
